Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Qualified Electrician with strong quality control awareness to join our team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding, testing, and quality inspections across a range of projects. The role requires a high standard of workmanship, strong attention to detail, and the ability to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations in accordance with current regulations and company standards
- Perform testing, inspection, and fault-finding on electrical systems
- Complete quality control checks to ensure works are completed correctly and to specification
- Identify and report any defects, issues, or non-compliant works
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents
- Liaise professionally with clients, site supervisors, and other trades
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of completed works and testing documentation
- Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicles are maintained in good condition
- Travel between various project sites as required
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with recognised electrical certification
- Safe Electric registration
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
- Experience carrying out testing and inspection works
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full clean driving licence
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
Desirable Skills
- Experience with PAT testing
- Experience supervising small teams or subcontractors
- Familiarity with quality assurance and snagging processes
- IPAF, MEWP, or other relevant certifications
