Keegan Quarries Ltd a division of the Keegan Group was first established in 1990 to supply sand and aggregates to the Meath and Dublin region. Keegan Quarries Ltd now manufactures ready-mix concrete, trowel ready mortar, stone, aggregates, sand and gravel, fill products, blocks, precast panels and agricultural lime. We supply our products to customers in the commercial and domestic markets in Counties Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Meath and Offaly.
Looking for a Dozer Operator/Driver for our Enfield Site and our Rathmolyon Plant, Trammon, Co Meath, A83 DA36. Drivers must have a full clean license and their own transports as sites are not accessible by public transport.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Maintain Dozer in good condition both internally and externally
- Complete daily checks on Dozer for oil and water
- Report all issues relating to the Dozer
- Report any incidents or accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure.
- Attend essential training in order to carry out the driver role.
- Provide support in the yard as required by Plant Manager.
- Ensure trucks and equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, to include Health & Safety Policy and Driving for Work Policy.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years’ Dozer driving experience preferred.
- Full, Clean Drivers License.
- Manual Handling.
- Valid Safe Pass.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices regarding vehicle movements around site.
- Excellent decision / problem solving skills.
- Ability to deal with the public / clients in a positive, courteous and respectful manner.
- Ability to work in a high-paced, deadline orientated environment.
