Cervino Medical – Sandyford, Dublin
Cervino Medical is seeking an experienced and highly organised Medical Administrator to join our growing private clinic in Sandyford, Dublin. This is a key role within the practice, supporting the Consultant and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of clinics while delivering an excellent experience for patients.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a professional healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy clinical setting.
This position offers an opportunity to join a modern and expanding medical practice, where you will play an important role in helping deliver high-quality patient care.
Position Type: Full-time (part-time may be considered)
Working Hours: Typically Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Key ResponsibilitiesClinic Coordination
- Manage and coordinate consultant clinic schedules
- Book and confirm patient appointments while ensuring efficient clinic flow
- Prepare clinic lists and ensure all necessary documentation and patient information are available
Patient Administration
- Act as a professional point of contact for patients, managing queries with discretion and empathy
- Coordinate patient referrals and liaise with hospitals, laboratories, and other healthcare providers to obtain medical records and test results
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with data protection regulations
Billing & Financial Administration
- Process insurance billing and prepare weekly invoices
- Maintain accurate billing records and support financial administration where required
Administrative Support
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Consultant
- Assist with general operational and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in medical administration, healthcare administration, or a similar patient-facing administrative role
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented with a mature approach to work
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients and colleagues
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
