Role Summary
CULLY is currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Industrial Electrician, primarily operating across the Munster region. Reporting to the Automation Manager, this field-based role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in automation, controls, telemetry, and industrial systems within a highly experienced Project Delivery team.
The role involves electrical installation works relating to instrumentation, PLC and telemetry panels, cable containment, and analytical telemetry equipment, together with quality control (QC) activities in line with company procedures, project requirements, and Safe Electric guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, cable containment, MCCs, telemetry equipment, and variable speed drives
- Install and terminate indoor and outdoor cabling
- Install radio telemetry equipment, including antenna and rigging fixtures
- Carry out fault-finding, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and repair of electrical systems and components
- Ensure all works are completed in line with ETCI, Safe Electric, and National Code of Practice requirements
- Attend FAT testing and liaise with client electrical teams where required
- Carry out quality inspections and ensure testing and Safe Electric documentation is completed accurately
- Provide technical support, feedback, and guidance to colleagues and line management as required

Skills Required
Essential
- Completion of Solas Electrical Apprenticeship
- Electrical QC qualification or willingness to undertake training
- Full clean driving licence
- Industrial electrical experience
- Ability to read technical diagrams, P&ID and electrical schematics
- Good knowledge of electrical test equipment
- Strong fault-finding and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Well organised, motivated, and capable of completing work to a high standard
- Professional and positive approach to work and customer interactions
Desirable
- Experience working with MCC control circuits.
- Understanding of flow meters and general principles of operation
- Experience or knowledge of radio systems and/or data loggers
- Confined Space work will be required as part of the role. (Training supplied)
- Working at Heights will be required as part of the role. (Ladders and MEPW training supplied)
