Windmill Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Care Team part time at Abbot Close Care Centre, Askeaton Co. Limerick.
This is a fixed-term role commencing on 6th July 2026 and concluding on 30th August 2026.
The position is part-time and flexible, requiring 3 days per week, including weekends.
Shifts will be 12 hours in duration.
Main Duties

Clear and clean kitchen, dining areas and catering utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.

Assist in the preparation and service of all meals and beverages for residents, visitors and staff to the required company standards of hygiene and economy.

Preparation of resident's trays and dining areas ensuring that the necessary equipment, utensils and food is available in the required quantities and at the required time.

Adhere to good practice with regard to hygiene, health and safety, HACCP and COSHH Regulation at all times meeting all legislative requirements.
