Agricultural experience and/or qualifications are an advantage, but not essential.The Irish Holstein Friesian Association (IHFA) is seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing Executive.
IHFA is responsible for the upkeep and promotion of the pedigree herdbook for Holstein Friesian cattle in Ireland, and for supporting our members through a range of herd, breeding and on‑farm services.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to start their career in marketing, but we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant professional experience.
A background or strong interest in agriculture and dairy farming is important for this role. A working knowledge of the Holstein Friesian breed or farm services would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
This is primarily a full‑time position, however part‑time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Become a key member of the IHFA marketing team
- Assist with all advertising, promotion and media activities
- Help promote IHFA and its services across digital, print and in‑person channels
- Represent IHFA on‑farm and at industry events
- Support wider communications and member engagement initiatives
Depending on experience, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibility over time.

Role Details
- Contract: Full‑time, 12‑month contract
- Salary: Commensurate with experience
- Working model: Hybrid working available following an initial training period
Location: IHFA Office, Clonakilty, Co. Cork
Pay: €27,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
