- Senior Chef — Man O'War Gastropub, Balbriggan
Man O'War Gastropub is one of North County Dublin's busiest and most established gastropubs, turning over significant volume Thursday through Sunday. We are looking for a serious, experienced Senior Chef to join our kitchen team on a permanent basis.
This is not a stepping stone role. We want someone who is ready to hit the ground running, work at pace, and raise the standard in a kitchen that is already performing well.
The Role
- Thursday to Sunday, 10 hours per day
- Supporting and working alongside an established Head Chef and Second Chef
- Taking full ownership of your section during service
- Maintaining and improving kitchen standards, consistency and presentation
- High volume gastropub service — you need to be able to handle it
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in a senior kitchen role
- Strong classical and modern cooking techniques
- Someone who leads by example and thrives under pressure
- Reliable, professional and passionate about food
- Must live in the Fingal area or have own transport — we are not on a public bus route (Eircode K34 F436)
