Our focus is to assist our clients improve their Consumers’ Quality Experience. Our Project Managers in Ireland and the US manage our global network of retail auditors and consumers to deliver high quality and forward thinking solutions to our clients across the globe. Our IT teams develop customized solutions for data capture and reporting to bring added value solutions to our clients.

How do we do it?
We support our global clients toImprove their Consumers’ Quality Experience across all consumer relevant steps of the supply chain through a combination of the following services:
· Product & Retail Intelligence- Our vast researcher network in over 120 countries conduct 1,000’s of retail audits every year based on client standards. Using our Qual-X Technology, data from these audits is reported in a variety of ways depending on client needs. Our researchers can also purchase products from any market – either in store or through E-commerce - and ship to our clients for further evaluation or to Eolas laboratories for analytical testing.
· Consumer & Product Experience – Through our Qual-X technology our Consumer Insights Team recruit and engage real consumers all over the world to understand their expectations, experiences and interaction with our client & competitor products and how this impacts on their purchase intent.
· Laboratory & Sensory Research - Within our LabSens division our Analytical, Sensory & Proficiency Services work closely with our clients Quality and Technical personnel. We are the largest independent provider of Sensory services in Ireland, whilst our Proficiency service is the newest addition to our LabSens division and is experiencing considerable growth.

We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory & Sensory Analyst to work in our laboratories in our LabSens division
This role will be part of our existing Sensory and Laboratory Analysis team and will be involved in:
· Organising and preparing beverage samples in our laboratory
· Carrying out physical and chemical analysis testing on food and beverage products daily for our client companies
· Reporting results of testing
· Organising, preparing and facilitating sensory analysis panels on a range of food and beverage type samples, potentially with client interaction.

· Make up many different beverage samples in the lab on a daily basis to set instructions
· Use Lab equipment such as Moisture Analyser, pH Meter, Colourimeter, Haze Meter
· Record results of analysis in the IT system
· Record sample details, files and organise storage of samples
· Make decisions around planning the day’s schedule to fit best with samples being prepared at the right time for analysis
· Co-operate with colleagues to help meet daily deadlines
· Co-operate with colleagues to help meet key targets and to constantly aim for improved outputs
· Contact clients to discuss sample matters as they arise, or to report results
· Assist in a sensory food panel environment, as a panellist and/or panel leader
· In time create reports and discuss results with clients
:
· Be very detailed orientated and be able to multitask while retaining high attention to detail
· Be comfortable with working in a lab environment, using a variety of lab equipment from basic to automated and advanced.
· Be proficient in preparing samples according to instructions in a timely way, and in recording the results.
· Be enthusiastic and comfortable working independently when required.
· Have a high interest in food and food products,
· Have a strong ability to sense flavours and aromas from food and beverage products.
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, work well as part of a team with an ability to problem solve
· Have strong time management skills and be able to combine ongoing work in the laboratory and sensory panel when required.
· Be able to interpret data typically of low/medium complexity
The ideal candidate will:
· Possess a science degree (or equivalent)
· Have relevant lab experience
Hours:
7:30am-4:00pm 5 days a week (including 30 mins lunch break)
Pay: €30,000.00-€32,000.00 per year
