The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors and clients, you will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from pre-construction through to final handover.
- Lead and motivate site management teams to deliver successful projects.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on time and within budget.
- Develop and monitor project programmes and resource plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and design teams.
- Monitor project costs alongside the commercial team.
- Ensure quality standards and client expectations are consistently achieved.
- Identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
- Produce regular progress reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Level 8 Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.
- Track record of delivering medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
- Thorough understanding of Health & Safety and construction best practice.
- Full driving licence.
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
