Ensure full compliance with food hygiene regulations, particularly HACCP requirements, at all times.
Check and receive food deliveries, ensuring only products that meet the required quality standards are accepted into the unit.
Ensure proper food storage in line with hygiene regulations and follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation system.
Carry out cleaning duties related to service areas, equipment, and furniture as required.
Store food items and equipment correctly after service to maintain hygiene and organisation.
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance, ensuring uniform compliance with company regulations at all times.
Support the implementation of the company’s Health & Safety policy and assist in promoting safe working practices.
Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures accurately as required.
Identify and report safety hazards within the kitchen and surrounding areas to your line manager promptly.
Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager to support the smooth running of the department.
