We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse & Trade Counter Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties, customer service, stock management, and supplier liaison. You’ll work with account customers, helping to ensure orders are processed efficiently and customers receive excellent service.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving trade and account customers at the counter and by phone
- Picking, packing, and processing customer orders
- Receiving, checking, and organising stock deliveries
- Maintaining stock levels and warehouse organisation
- Placing orders with suppliers and tracking deliveries
- Contacting customers regarding orders and product availability
- Assisting with inventory control and stock replenishment
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Warehouse, trade counter, retail, or customer service experience is an advantage but not required
