About the role
Are you a hands-on developer who enjoys building and supporting the database-driven applications that keep a business running? Join Computeq, where you will be placed on-site at one of our customer locations - a regulated manufacturing / medical-device / pharma sites - taking ownership of a suite of in-house applications and the databases behind them. You will be employed by Computeq and work as part of the customer's team day to day. It is a broad, varied role with genuine ownership, ideal for someone who likes being the go-to person for business-critical systems.
What you will do
Develop, maintain and support the customer's in-house, database-driven applications
The core of the role - building new tools and improving existing ones for their manufacturing, quality and operations teams.
· Work with production and QA colleagues on-site to turn their needs into practical, reliable applications.
· Administer and care for the customer's databases (SQL Server, with Oracle and PostgreSQL) - backups, restores, archiving and audit reporting.
· Support and monitor the interfaces that move data between the customer's manufacturing and quality systems.
· Manage system access and changes in line with the site's quality and validation (GxP) procedures.
· Get stuck into improvement projects - migrations, integrations and roll-outs.
What we are looking for
· Proven experience developing and supporting database-driven business applications (e.g. MS Access / VBA ) - this is the most important part of the role that being frontend design alot is deployed via access databases.
· Solid SQL skills and database administration experience (SQL Server; Oracle and/or PostgreSQL a plus).
· A methodical troubleshooter who takes ownership of systems end to end - including ones you did not build.
· Comfortable working in a structured, change-controlled environment and documenting your work clearly.
· A clear communicator, happy to be based on-site with a customer and work with non-technical colleagues across QA, operations and production.
Nice to have
· Experience in a regulated (GxP) manufacturing environment - pharma or medical device.
· Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV), ServiceNow, GRC tools (e.g. Archer) and Active Directory.
· Electronic Batch Record (EBR) / MES exposure.

Pay: €36,600.00-€55,156.00 per year
