JMGC is a Dublin City Centre-based company providing affordable residential accommodation for people living and working in the city. We are a fast-growing group expanding into international markets, with new business ventures across accommodation, global exporting, retail, and B2B home goods.
As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to take ownership of our people operations, support our growing team, and drive talent initiatives across the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on, standalone HR role suited to someone confident working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, championing company culture, and ensuring our HR practices align with Irish employment legislation and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from employees and management
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR administration in compliance with data protection regulations
- Support performance management, employee relations, and career development initiatives
- Assist with payroll preparation inputs and coordinate closely with our finance team
- Ensure full compliance with Irish employment law, workplace policies, and health and safety guidelines
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and internal culture initiatives as the team expands
- Continuously improve HR processes, policies, and handbooks as the business grows
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in an HR generalist or similar HR support role
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
- Fluent English (written and spoken) with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, multi-sector business environment
- Full working rights in Ireland (required)
