We are a well-established civil engineering and utilities contractor operating nationwide across Ireland, delivering projects in both public and private sectors. We are currently seeking experienced PICW Level E / Electrical Site Supervisors to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising substation and electrical infrastructure projects, including HV/MV/LV works, trenching, ducting, cabling, and associated civil works. This role requires strong leadership and technical knowledge to ensure safe and efficient delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise substation and electrical infrastructure projects
Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with regulations
Oversee trenching, ducting, cabling, and civil works
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and materials
Liaise with Contracts Manager and senior management
Maintain project schedules and site documentation
Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
Ensure quality and environmental standards are met
Support planning and sequencing of construction activities
Requirements:
Proven experience in civil engineering or utilities projects
Strong knowledge of HV / MV / LV electrical networks
Experience in substation or live electrical environments (AIS preferred)
Previous supervisory or team leader experience
Safe Pass (mandatory)
Manual Handling certificate
IOSH / MSIC or equivalent safety qualification
Full clean driving licence
Strong communication and leadership skills
Additional Requirements (Desirable):
CSCS certifications (Roadworks, Underground Services, etc.)
First Aid certification
Experience acting as PSCS representative
Ability to mentor and train junior staff
Pay: €40,000.00-€71,000.00 per year
