As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a highly organised and motivated Tender Administrator to join a collaborative and supportive team.
About the Role
The Tender Administrator will support the Tendering Team in the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids and proposals for major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
The role involves ensuring tender information is well organised, professionally presented, accurate, and fully compliant with client requirements.
Working closely with operational, commercial, and technical teams, the successful candidate will support bids across a diverse range of sectors, including water, wastewater, utilities, marine, and civil infrastructure projects throughout Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection of technical, commercial, quality, environmental, and safety information required for submissions.
- Assist in the preparation, formatting, proofreading, and compilation of tender and prequalification submissions.
- Ensure all submissions fully comply with client requirements and procurement instructions.
- Maintain and update project reference sheets, staff CVs, case studies, policies, and company information libraries.
- Support the submission of bids through electronic procurement portals and client systems.
- Support the continuous improvement of tendering processes, templates, and content libraries.
What We’re Looking For
- Third-level qualification in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Office Administration, or a related discipline desirable but not essential.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office administration, document control, tender administration, or similar support role.
- Previous experience supporting bids, tenders, proposals, or document control activities within a civil engineering, construction, water, wastewater, utilities, marine, infrastructure, or professional services environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and document management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement portals and electronic tender submission platforms is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.
