Groundworks Foreman
Logden Construction Ltd – Westport, Co. Mayo
Due to continued growth, Logden Construction Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join our expanding team.
We carry out a wide range of residential, commercial and public sector projects throughout Mayo. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who can lead a team, organise work efficiently, and deliver projects safely and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a groundworks team on site.
* Organise daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
* Carry out all aspects of groundworks, including:
* Foundations and footings
* Drainage and sewer installations
* Concrete works
* Kerbing, paving and external works
* Site preparation and finishing works
* Read and work from construction drawings.
* Coordinate labour, materials and plant on site.
* Ensure high standards of workmanship and health & safety are maintained.
* Liaise with site management and subcontractors.
* Carry out demolition works when required on occasional projects.
Requirements
* Proven experience in all aspects of groundworks.
* Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
* Ability to read drawings and organise work effectively.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Safe Pass required.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Machine tickets would be an advantage but are not essential.
