Operating CNC glass cutting machines to cut glass panels to required dimensions
Programming or adjusting CNC cutting parameters based on production specifications
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting schedules
Loading and handling glass sheets safely during the cutting process
Inspecting glass panels to ensure accuracy and quality standards are achieved
Performing routine machine checks and basic maintenance
Assisting with glazing preparation and handling of finished glass components
Maintaining a safe working environment and following health and safety procedures
examines drawings or specifications to determine job
requirements;
scores plain, coloured, safety and ornamental glass with hand
cutter and breaks off glass by hand or with pliers;
smoothes edges of glass and positions and secures in frame
or grooved lead strips;
applies mastic, putty or adhesive between glass and frame
and trims off excess with knife;
fixes mirror panels to interior and exterior walls and repairs
and replaces broken glass.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating CNC glass cutting machinery or similar CNC equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production measurements
Experience working in a glass processing or window manufacturing environment is desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
Ability to work as part of a production team
Applicants should have a minimum of six months relevant experience in CNC operation, glass processing, or manufacturing environments.
Pay: €36,605.00 per year
