Marlfield House is currently looking for a Chef de Partie to start immediately in their award winning restaurants : the Conservatory Restaurant and The Duck.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage a section of the , working together with the other chefs
- Prepare all dishes and serve and present same
- Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
- Ensure their section adheres to health and safety regulations
- Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends
The successful candidates must:
- Have experience in a quality restaurants and a passion for using local and home grown produce.
- Have an appreciation of seasonality, love simplicity and have an appreciation and passion for the kitchen and fruit garden
- be a team player have the ability to inspire and be part of a team have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- have full knowledge of adhering to HACCP
- have a keen eye for detail
- must love food, particularly desserts and baking
- be imaginative,
- have a passion for ingredients and appreciate and use the kitchen and seasonal garden produce
