Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and basic food preparation.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Keep kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organised.
- Wash and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and storage when required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
- Carry out other general kitchen duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised.
- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Availability to work Wednesday through Sunday.
- Weekend availability required.
