A well-established Residential and Commercial Development company with active sites across Wexford, Kilkenny, and Dublin is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be based at the head office in Wexford Town and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects from the planning stage through to completion.
Current and upcoming projects include residential housing developments, apartment complexes, nursing homes, and student accommodation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate budget costs and cost estimates for construction projects.
Manage the procurement process and oversee subcontractors and material suppliers.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
Prepare cost reports and provide regular updates on project progress.
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.
Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations and agreements.
Manage valuations and ensure accurate cost control throughout projects.
Prepare, negotiate, and agree final accounts.
Support project teams from initial planning stages through to project completion.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Strong experience working on residential construction projects is essential.
Experience within residential and commercial developments is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Cubit estimating software.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Full clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications.
Pay: €45,725.61-€94,507.43 per year
