In this role, based in Portlaoise with our central editorial team, you will work on local news and features, national news and our coverage of the biggest events on the Irish calendar, from the National Ploughing Championships to the Galway Races!
Market-leading training will be provided to successful candidates. Our editors will nurture your flair for writing, develop your storytelling, help you build contacts and interview people, train you on our digital publishing platforms to maximise the potential of your material in the areas of SEO, social media and with our ever-growing online audience. Proficiency in the Irish language would be an added advantage.
