Senior Site Engineer (Civil) – Dublin
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer (Civil) to join our growing team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily site engineering activities.
- Set out and supervise civil engineering works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with project programmes, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Monitor site progress and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
- Assist with planning, resource allocation, and problem-solving on site.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and site staff.
- Maintain accurate site records, surveys, and as-built documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer role.
- Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure, or groundworks projects.
- Proficient in setting out using GPS, Total Station, and surveying equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and regulations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
- Full clean driving licence.
