We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspector to join a high-performing fabrication team specialising in stainless steel and carbon steel products for structural, architectural, and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect welding and fabrication activities for compliance with EN1090, WPS, and applicable welding standards (ISO 9606, ISO 15614).
- Perform visual weld inspections (VT) on stainless and carbon steel fabrications.
- Verify welder qualifications and adherence to approved WQRs.
- Review quality documentation including WPS, WPQRs, ITPs, and material certificates.
- Identify welding defects/non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
- Support and coordinate NDT activities (PT, UT, RT, MT as required).
- Maintain inspection records, traceability, and quality reports.
- Conduct general fabrication quality inspections.
- Assist with internal/external audits and certification inspections.
- Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement across production.
Essential Requirements
- CSWIP Welding Inspector, IWI, or equivalent certification.
- Experience inspecting stainless steel and carbon steel weldments.
- Strong knowledge of EN1090 and welding quality requirements.
- Familiarity with TIG and MIG/MAG welding processes.
- Understanding of ISO 3834, welder qualifications, and welding procedures.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
- Knowledge of NDT methods and inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
