Workshop & Production Operative
About the Role
Breffni Air Engineering is seeking a motivated and dependable Workshop & Production Operative to join our growing team. Based in our Cavan facilities this role will support both our Workshop operations and our Coated Systems production division.
The successful candidate will assist with the manufacture, assembly, and preparation of modular solutions while also supporting the production and finishing of coated systems products. This is a varied hands-on role offering the opportunity to develop practical skills within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the assembly and preparation of modular solutions.
· Support the production, finishing, and preparation of coated systems products.
· Carry out basic fitting, assembly, and finishing tasks.
· Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
· Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation.
· Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.
· Assist with stock control and material management.
· Work with supervisors and colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
· Carry out any other duties required to support workshop and production operations.

Desirable Experience
· Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, production, construction, or engineering environment.
· Good practical skills and a willingness to learn new tasks.
· Manual Handling certification (advantageous but not essential).
· Abrasive Wheels certification (advantageous but not essential).
· Driver’s License (Forklift license advantageous but not essential).
