Residential Solar PV Technical Expert
Job Summary
To assist with our growing residential division, Infinite Energy are seeking a Solar PV technical expert. Joining this growing team and reporting to the Residential Project Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience in fast paced environment, have strong teamwork skills, have an aptitude for problem solving and an ability to communicate well with both customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
· Working closely with the Residential Project Manager regarding customer queries and issues.
· Assessment of queries in a timely manner, prioritising these issues, and identifying the level of service required to close out these queries.
· Close out queries that do not require the service of one of our electricians, using your strong understanding of Solar PV systems, applications, and technical knowledge. This may be done over the phone or arranging a call out.
· Assessing queries for revenue potential, checking installation dates, warranty dates etc. and communicating same to both the customer and our accounts department. Where reworks/callouts are billable, identify and communicate these to the customer and the wider team.
· Assist in the development of our in-house query resolution system – implementing associated Standard Operating Procedures as and when required.
· Working closely with management, wider team and customers to ensure full customer satisfaction on completion/close out of issues.
· Ensuring and assisting with continuous improvement and process improvements relating to all areas noted above.
· Other ad hoc duties as and when required by the company.
Qualifications & Experience
· Experience in a similar or related role preferred but not essential.
· Technical knowledge of Solar PV systems is highly desirable. An aptitude for problem solving and resolving ‘tech’ queries on PV inverters, EV chargers (via the physical product and the associated application).
· Strong communications skills – an ability to diagnose and address customer queries over the phone is pivotal to this role. Someone with an ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers would be well suited to this role.
· Experience working with customers with a high level of customer service.
· Willingness to learn new processes and development of same as and when required.
· Strong time management, ability to work both within a team and independently, and within a fast paced and busy environment.

Salary dependent on experience.
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
