Career Vision Recruiters is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join a prestigious fine dining restaurant, working alongside an award-winning chef. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and ambitious chef to elevate their culinary career in a high-end, creative kitchen environment.
The location is outside Limerick City and does not provide accommodation. Ideally, this role would suit someone who drives.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for food, a creative flair, and meticulous attention to detail. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to develop their skills under expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards
- Assist in training and mentoring junior chefs (Demi Chef de Partie / Commis)
- Work closely with the Head Chef on menu development and new dish creation
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and comply with all health and safety regulations
- Monitor portion control and minimize waste to support profit margins
What You Need
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills with a high standard of spoken and written English
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
- Creative, ambitious mindset with a willingness to learn
- Flexible availability to meet business demands
