Due to our continued business expansion we are recruiting for a delivery driver to join our Warehouse in Cork. The Warehouse Driver & Operative will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customer sites, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring accurate documentation and stock control. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and adherence to company procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver goods to customer sites in a safe, timely, and professional manner
- Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately and customer signatures are obtained
- Return completed delivery paperwork promptly to the Accounts Office
- Assist warehouse staff with picking, packing, and preparing deliveries as required
- Ensure that no stock leaves the warehouse without the appropriate paperwork and authorisation
- Handle occasional customer queries at the collections counter in a professional manner
- Participate in stock‑taking and inventory checks as required
- Operate a forklift when required, in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Use company systems, including email and sales/inventory software, to support daily duties
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other tasks or duties as required to meet business needs
Requirements :
- Full clean driving license
- Experience in similar role
- Manual Handling Cert
- A forklift licence is a strong advantage
- A good level of physical fitness
- Experience & Knowledge of electrical and plumbing products a distinct advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided
