We are looking for a skilled and motivated Door Service Engineer to join our service team, specialising in cold storage and temperature-controlled environments. This role involves working on customer sites across Ireland, carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial door systems.
You will report directly to the Service Manager and Operations Manager, based at our Bluebell office.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair cold storage door systems, including:
- High-speed doors
- Sliding and hinged insulated doors
- Freezer and chill room doors
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Install and commission new door systems when required
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety standards
- Deliver a high level of customer service on-site
- Complete reports and documentation accurately
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Door Engineer / Service Engineer or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge or experience is an advantage
- Ability to fault-find and problem-solve effectively
- Experience in cold storage or industrial doors (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full, clean driving licence (essential)
