On-Call staff required to help manage our out of hours service (Evenings and Weekends)

Key Requirements
- Have previous experience in a home care on call service.
- Have a min 2 suitable references
- Be caring, friendly and able to work under pressure
- Be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
- Have a good standard of verbal and written English
Key Responsibilities
- To take calls from service users and staff and resolve issues as they arise.
- To cover calls during out of hours when a care worker calls in sick or is unable to work.
- To update the IT system with any changes to rotas, any sick leave or any hospital admissions and inform care workers and NOK accordingly.
- Log all out of hours calls from service users and staff in the on-call report which is handed over to office staff after on-call shift.
- Give direction to care workers when issues arise in line with Danu’s Home Care Policy and Procedure.
- On call Ad-hoc duties as required
