North West Garage in Dublin 15 is hiring a Diesel Mechanic.
THE ROLE
Diesel engine repair and servicing - injectors, DPF, turbos, EGR, glow plugs, fuel systems and common rail diagnostics. Vans and light commercials as well as cars, plus NCT preparation, fault rectification and re-test work.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience working on diesel engines in a garage or workshop. A trade qualification is a plus, but solid hands-on experience matters most.
Confident with diagnostic equipment and diesel fault finding.
Ability to diagnose and repair without constant supervision.
Own hand tools an advantage.
Full driving licence.
Working English, or the willingness to improve it.
WHAT WE OFFER
From 800 euro per week, depending on experience.
Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00, Saturday 9:00-14:00.
Permanent, full-time position, properly registered (PAYE).
Overtime available.
Fully equipped workshop, lifts and diagnostic equipment.
Support with training and manufacturer courses.
Busy, steady workload all year round.
