The role consists of dealing directly with trade counter customers, phone and email orders, picking, packing and stock control.
The candidate must have good interpersonal skills as well as working well in a team environment. The ability to multi task is a key requirement in this position and an understanding of the areas that need to be prioritised on a day to day basis.
Key Responsibilites
Dealing sufficiently with shop customers and ensuring repeat business
Picking, packing and despatching orders
Checking in deliveries and organising stock
Taking orders over the phone or email, liaising with customers
Monday til Friday
Knowledge/Experience
Good understanding of counter sales and warehouse operations
Team player who can work just as well independently and on their own initiative
Forklift and manual handling an advantage as some heavy lifting involved
Basic computer knowledge (email, Microsoft word) an advantage
