Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Event Staff to join our team. As an Event Staff member, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of various private exclusive weddings by providing exceptional service to guests. Starting rate of pay €15 euro per hour. Please note there are plenty of opportunities within the company to progress, both in rate of pay and supervisory/management roles.
Work Locations: Venues in Carlow, Laois, Kildare and Meath
Responsibilities:
- Set up event spaces according to the event plan and guest requirements
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas throughout the duration of the event
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries or requests promptly
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth event operations
- Support event breakdown and clean-up activities
Skills:
- Experience in food handling, catering, or hospitality industry is a must - Please note an absolute minimum of two years experience in the hotel/private wedding industry is a must.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to assist in various tasks related to event setup and execution
- Familiarity with banquet or restaurant settings is advantageous
