Stove Installer / Fitter Required
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Stove Installer/Fitter to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving stove installations, flue systems, and associated carpentry work.
Your responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to:
- Install stove systems, including twin wall chimney flue systems and lead flashing
- Prepare and install supports for flue pipes, equipment, and fixtures
- Take accurate measurements and calculate required materials
- Load/unload materials and maintain stock records
- Carry out general carpentry work as required
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials (timber, fittings, etc.)
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism on-site and when dealing with customers
- Ability to cut and polish Granite/Marble.
Job Duties:
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Manage and coordinate tasks on-site when needed
- Work alongside subcontractors
- Assist with training apprentices and junior staff
Requirements
- Experience in stove installation, carpentry, or a similar trade
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and construction methods
- Safe Pass (preferred)
- Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
- Full driving licence (essential for van use)
