The Internal Sales Administrator plays a key role in supporting the sales function by managing customer interactions, preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end sales cycle. This position involves close collaboration with external sales engineers, customers, and suppliers to deliver excellent service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction
- Handle incoming customer calls and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Quotation & Sales Support
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on customer requirements
- Follow up on quotations and support conversion to sales
- Order Management
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Monitor orders through the full sales cycle from enquiry to delivery
- Supplier Coordination
- Place and manage orders with suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues
- Sales Cycle Management
- Track and manage the full sales process
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and maintained
- Collaboration
- Work closely with external sales engineers to support business development
- Communicate effectively across internal teams
- Stock Control
- Check stock availability and provide updates to customers and sales teams
- Coordinate with warehouse or supply chain teams where necessary

Experience
- Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role preferred
- Experience dealing with customers and suppliers in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Power Transmission products is not mandatory but would be considered an advantage as training will be provided
