The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the dealership and generate sales leads. This role is part-time and requires a creative and analytical individual with a strong background in digital and traditional marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development
- In line with the dealership objectives develop and execute a comprehensive annual marketing plan and strategy.
- Analyse and research market trends and competitor activities to develop a strategy.
- Develop quarterly detailed marketing plans.
Digital
- Manage the dealership’s website, ensuring content is current and accurate liaising regularly with the website provider.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including eDM, social media, PPC, and online advertising.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of efforts using analytics tools.
Traditional
- Coordinate print, radio and television advertising campaigns.
- Develop promotional materials such as showroom POS, flyers and OOH banners.
- Sponsorship – dealing with sponsorship enquiries and creating material for sponsorship packages.
Content Creation & Design
- Create engaging content for social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, X and LinkedIn.
- Develop press releases as required around new car launches, events to gain exposure for the business.
- Create and design marketing material on Canva.
Brand Management
- Engage with the key stakeholders for each car brand as required.
- Prepare brand specific marketing plans, annually and quarterly.
- Create content and assets in line with each brands brand guidelines.
- Manage brand budgets and any reimbursements due.
Event Management
- Liaise with management to generate ideas for events that will boost the profile of the dealership.
- Engage key stakeholders, speakers, sponsors, press to ensure events garner interest and exposure.
CRM
- Manage customer databases and segmentation for targeted marketing campaigns.
- Implement strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track and report on marketing spend to date.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales and service team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
- Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and media contacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
- Experience with traditional marketing methods and event planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
