Bookings & Events CoordinatorWe are seeking a proactive, outgoing and commercially focused Bookings & Events Executive to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and managing customer, corporate and event bookings, building strong relationships with clients and partners and supporting the delivery of events and activations across our venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookings & KPIs: manage customer, corporate and event bookings from enquiry through to delivery. Work towards agreed booking and revenue targets, track performance against KPIs and provide regular reporting on enquiries, conversions and revenue.
- Events & Activations: coordinate events, promotions and community initiatives from enquiry to delivery. Manage event bookings, client communications and venue show-arounds, while liaising with internal teams to ensure all requirements are communicated and delivered.
- Sales & Business Development: proactively generate new corporate, group and event opportunities through outreach, networking and relationship-building. Identify opportunities to maximise bookings and revenue.
- Partnerships & Outreach: build relationships with local businesses, organisations, festivals and community groups. Develop outreach initiatives and collaborative partnerships that increase venue visibility and engagement.
- Venue Experience: oversee venue décor, seasonal styling and visual merchandising, supporting the delivery of a welcoming and engaging customer experience.
- Event Development: identify and develop new event opportunities, activations and partnerships that align with our venues' ethos.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in sales, bookings, hospitality, events or a customer-facing role is an advantage.
- Confident, outgoing and comfortable building relationships with customers, businesses and partners.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-driven with a natural ability to sell, engage and convert opportunities.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings and events.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
This is a fixed-term role with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position.
