Key Responsibilities- 39 hours weekly at Mooneys, 4 Abbey Street Lower, Dublin 1
or Plunkets at 52 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within the assigned kitchen section.
- Manage and oversee a designated station (e.g., grill, pastry, sauce, fish, or vegetables).
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Minimize food waste and control portion sizes to maximize profitability.
- Train and supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Assist in menu development and suggest new dishes or improvements.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Pay: €37,000.00 per year
