Job Description & Skills Required
Working within the manufacturing processes of polyurethane power transmission timing belts. Production processes include precision mould assembly, operating moulding machines to defined tolerances. Product identification marking machines, belt cutting & wire pulling operations.
Duties include:
- Primary focus is to ensure maximum uptime through planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Perform hands-on maintenance & repairs on mechanical, steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently, working independently and in collaboration contractors.
- Support continuous improvements and communicate with Engineering, Production and Quality teams.
- A basic knowledge of electrical systems is preferred but not essential.
- To be willing to work flexibly and to carry out other duties as may be requested.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in fitting/maintenance environment.
- Level 5 (incl Leaving Certificate) + an Engineering qualification would be an advantage.
- Fault finding and diagnostic skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Right to work in Ireland, candidates must already be living here.
