The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Installation Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone practical, hands-on, and motivated, who may not yet have experience in commissioning or system setup but wants to build a career in the security industry.
As part of the installation team, you will be responsible for:
- First-fix cabling and containment work
- Installing cable routes, trunking, conduits, and brackets
- Pulling, terminating, and labelling cables (CCTV, intruder, access control, fire, data)
- Assisting senior technicians with installation tasks
- Working on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Ensuring neat, professional workmanship and maintaining site safety standards
This role is the foundation of our technical team, and the right candidate will have opportunities to progress into:

- Commissioning Technician roles
- Specialist fields such as fire detection, access control, CCTV design, automation, and cyber-security
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who bring the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Essential:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good practical skills and comfortable working with tools
- Basic understanding of cabling or construction-related work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Full clean driving licence (preferred)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Beneficial, but not essential:
- Experience in electrical, carpentry, cabling, or related fields
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
- Previous experience on construction or technical sites
Full training will be provided, and you will work closely with experienced technicians to develop your skill set.
