Junior Building Services Engineer
Job description:
Due to continued growth, EHS Engineering Contractors are seeking to hire a Junior Building Services Engineer in a permanent role working from our Kilkenny office. The ideal candidate would need industry knowledge and experience and will get the opportunity to work on a range of Commercial Projects, from the early construction stage through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
Responsibilities:
- Review and coordination of Mechanical and Electrical Design drawings & specifications.
- Preparation of Project-Specific Technical Submittals.
- Generation of Data Sheets, Material Requisitions & Enquiry Packages for procurement of equipment.
- Assist with the generation of Mechanical and Electrical Claims and Variation Sheets.
- Ensure our delivery complies with project quality plans, internal processes/standards, and regulatory engineering standards and specifications.
- Project manage Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure packages are procured, delivered, installed, and tested as per project requirements
- Perform system walk-downs and generate snag lists.
- Preparation of O&M Manuals and As-Built Drawings.
- Assist with the Commissioning of installed systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Service Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of professional experience with mechanical and electrical installations on commercial projects.
- Good communication and report writing skills have the initiative to work alone.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
