Ashlawn House Nursing Home is a 52-bed private nursing home located in Carrigatoher, 3.5 miles from Nenagh, Co Tipperary, Ireland (Eircode E49FA31). We provide quality, person-centered residential care for both long and short term stays. The role of the HCA is to work in conjunction with management and nursing staff to provide person-centered care to our residents, whilst assisting with activities of daily living. We are recruiting for full-time positions. The role is subject to Garda Vetting and reference checks.
The purpose of role of Healthcare Assistant is to provide a 'home away from home' caring environment to our residents and assist them in continuing to live independent, fulfilled lives with respect, privacy and dignity. The successful candidate will work 39 hours per week.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare support (desired but not essential).
Relevant experience along with good communication skills.
Good command of the English language both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Have a kind and compassionate nature.
Training will be provided.
