This is a new afterschool provision in Ballyhale village. Usual school term hours are 8-9.20am and 2-6pm. Sceal Eile provide a range of resources and supports to children using the service and we provide extended hours when school is closed such as teacher training days, Halloween, Easter and summer clubs. We challenge children to identify there own interests, build a plan and seek our resources and support for it. Individually or group. So far, in other services, we have created garden boxes, musical dramas, baking goods and piano lessons.
We are seeking persons interested in working with children 4 to 15yrs old in developing their own skills and interests in natural subjects such as baking, STEM, fashion upcycling, sports, music and the outdoors.
Active people with a genuine interest in working and learning along the way will do well here. Any skills you have are a starting point.
After successful interviews, referee checks and vetting, you will complete statutory training, in house training and after a successful 6 month probation be considered for college programmes to further your career prospects.
Our team so far includes school leavers, scouters, chefs, home-makers, retirees and volunteers as well as qualified early years educators, SNA's, teachers, musicians and social care workers
Pay: €14.00-€18.00 per hour
