Role Overview: The Cybersecurity Risk Analyst is responsible for operating and enhancing McAfee’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program. This includes managing vendor risk assessments, supporting vendor onboarding and offboarding processes, monitoring third-party risk posture, and ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and treated in alignment with McAfee’s cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
The role focuses on ensuring third-party relationships do not introduce unacceptable risk to McAfee’s environment, customers, or regulatory obligations.
This is a Hybrid position located in either Dublin or Cork, Ireland. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to one of the two locations and are not offering relocation assistance at this time. Position Details:
About the Role:

Conduct end-to-end third-party risk assessments for new and existing vendors, aligned to McAfee’s risk methodology and control requirements.

Support vendor onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring security and compliance requirements are met prior to engagement and at termination.

Evaluate vendor security posture through review of security questionnaires, audit reports (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and supporting evidence.

Identify, document, and track third-party risks within the risk register, ensuring clear ownership, treatment plans, and audit defensibility.

Monitor remediation activities and risk treatment plans, ensuring timely closure of identified vendor risks.

Perform continuous monitoring of third-party risk using external intelligence sources (e.g., security ratings, breach monitoring).

Partner with Legal, Privacy and Procurement teams to ensure appropriate risk decisions and contract requirements (e.g., security clauses, DPAs).

Support customer and partner due diligence requests related to third-party risk controls and assurance.

Maintain reporting on third-party risk posture, including KRIs, KPIs, and metrics for leadership and governance forums.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the TPRM program, including policies, standards, and workflows.
About You:
- Experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) or cybersecurity risk.

Ability to conduct vendor risk assessments and evaluate security questionnaires.

Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity risk frameworks (e.g., NIST).

Experience maintaining risk registers, tracking remediation, and monitoring vendor risk.

Understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy requirements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with GRC or TPRM tools is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or Security+ are desirable.
