Overview
This role supports solar electrical installation teams with site preparation, assembly, and general operational tasks. The position requires solid experience using hand tools and the ability to work in a domestic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist electricians and installers with solar PV system assembly and installation
- Use hand tools to cut, drill, fasten, and prepare components
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment on site
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Follow all site safety procedures and report hazards
- Perform general labour tasks as directed by the site supervisor
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience with hand tools in a construction or mechanical environment
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work as part of a team
- Ability to work at heights if required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in varying weather conditions
- English Fluency Needed
Preferred
Valid safe-pass or equivalent construction safety certification
