We are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of infrastructure and utility projects across the West and Southwest of Ireland.
Responsibilities
Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets for mechanical and electrical works.
Review subcontractor quotations and assist with procurement activities.
Measure completed works and prepare valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
Monitor project expenditure, forecasts, and financial performance.
Manage variations, change orders, and contractual claims.
Provide commercial support to project managers and site teams.
Attend project meetings and contribute to commercial decision-making.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering initiatives.
Ensure commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
Requirements
Previous experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor.
Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering projects is desirable.
Pay: €45,641.31-€94,430.32 per year
