Join the team in the The Edge Lahinch, a distinguished culinary destination, is in search of an experienced and innovative Senior Chef de partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be a well organised, detail orientated, able to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
Job description:
- Being organised and maintaining high levels of detail at all times
- Reporting directly to the Head Chef
- Providing a high quality of food preparation.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and tidy working environment at all times. HACCP compliant
- Ensuring a smooth operation of food between the kitchen and the restaurant.
- Applicant must have an understanding of fresh quality produce and the ability to learn quickly.
- All food is prepared on site and we pride ourselves on our excellent quality of product.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Full time hours and seasonal work until November
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to demonstrate flair, creativity, and skill in the kitchen.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in a busy environment and as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication & organisational skills including fluent English.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Full flexibility with regards to working hours.
- Establish a positive, healthy, and safe working environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations.
Pay: €19.00-€20.00 per hour
