Job Overview
We are looking for a Part Time/Full Time Bar Tender to join our Crew. You’ll be passionate about all thing’s food, drinks, and providing great service in an upmarket setting with fast-paced service. We’ll be looking for proactive and friendly personalities to join our close-knit team. Our cool places need personalities and we’re looking for people who: Always think outside the box; Live in the now and know what’s next; and have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude.
Moxy is all about creating cool, energetic, communal spaces with a “Crew” who helps guests have some fun. Bar Moxy is a cool bar with laidback comfort where the drinks flow liberally. Drinks are freshly prepared with flair from the bar. The Crew are professional, down to earth and chatty in a cozy and elegant venue,
Main Tasks & responsibilities
o Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
o Serving guests and creating positive experiences
o Manage all bills and payments correctly
o Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
o Prepare exceptional Cocktails to standard
o Effective sales skills to up-sell products and services
o Provides excellent customer service
o Promote and support the bar and wider hotel
o Ensuring standards are maintained and daily/weekly/monthly tasks are completed
o Supporting other Crew Members and follow direction from Crew Leaders
o Promote and support the Moxy brand & the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:
o Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
o Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
o Skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service
o Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
Useful Experience
o Experience within the service industry
o Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
o Personal experience of travel and travel industry
