We are seeking a motivated Junior EHS Officer to join our growing construction team across Galway.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Health & Safety procedures across construction projects
- Support compliance with Irish Health & Safety legislation and company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety checks
- Assist in preparing risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation
- Participate in incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Maintain accurate H&S records and reports
- Deliver toolbox talks and assist with safety training initiatives
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors
- Promote best practices in health, safety, environmental, and quality performance
- Support digital compliance systems and reporting tools
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
- 1+ year experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within construction
- Knowledge of Irish Health & Safety regulations and construction site practices
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full clean driving licence preferred

Pay: €16.00-€25.00 per hour
