As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Patient Services & Reception Manager to lead our reception team and help shape the next stage of our journey.

About the Role
As Patient Services & Reception Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day leadership of our busy reception department.
Working closely with senior management, you will ensure our reception team delivers an exceptional experience to every patient while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, organisation and efficiency.
This role is about much more than managing a reception desk. We are looking for someone who can inspire a team, drive performance, develop people and build a positive workplace culture where individuals feel supported, respected and motivated to perform at their best.
You will play a key role in the continued development of one of Ireland's leading dental practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop our reception team.
- Take ownership of the daily operation of reception within our busy 14-surgery practice.
- Maintain exceptional standards of patient service and customer care.
- Monitor, report on and improve reception KPIs.
- Onboard and train new reception staff.
- Carry out regular one-to-one meetings, coaching and performance reviews.
- Ensure reception policies and procedures are consistently followed.
- Work closely with senior management to improve systems and efficiencies.
- Deal professionally with patient queries and complaints.
- Foster a positive, supportive and accountable team culture.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the patient journey.
- Lead by example through professionalism, organisation and positivity.
About You
We are looking for an experienced leader who enjoys bringing out the best in people.
You will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a reception, front office or customer service team.
- Previous management experience within dental, healthcare, hospitality or hotel environments would be highly advantageous.
- Proven experience leading, motivating and developing staff.
- Experience managing KPIs and team performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- The confidence to make decisions and take ownership.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Pay: €25.00 per hour
