About Langtons Group
Langtons is one of Ireland's most storied hospitality names — a Kilkenny institution that has been welcoming guests for generations. Today the Group operates Langtons Hotel & Restaurant, Marble City Bar & Tearooms, and Bridie's, a carefully curated retail and gifting space.
Ours is a business built on character, craft, and a genuine sense of place. We take pride in what we do, and we're looking for someone who shares that pride — and who has the creativity, initiative, and ambition to help us tell our story better than ever.

## The Role
This is a hands-on, creative marketing role at the heart of a multi-venue hospitality group. The candidate will own the day-to-day marketing output across our venues — from social content and email newsletters to event concepts, menus, and in-venue graphics — while working closely with the team on website management, package development, and product buying.
We're not looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We want a candidate who will bring their own ideas, spot opportunities we haven't considered, and actively shape what this role becomes. If you have an instinct for hospitality, a strong visual eye, and a genuine interest in digital culture and food and drink trends, we'd love to hear from you.

## What You'll Do
**Social Media & Content Creation**
Own and grow our social presence across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Google Business, Resdiary, OpenTable and any other relevant platforms. Develop a consistent content calendar across Langtons and Marble City Bar, with platform-native content — not one-size-fits-all posts. Shoot, edit, and publish content that captures the atmosphere, food, drinks, and people that make these venues what they are.
**Email Marketing & Newsletters**
Create and distribute engaging newsletters for both Langtons and Marble City Bar on a regular, consistent schedule. This means compelling copy, strong visuals, and a clear sense of what each audience wants to hear about — whether that's upcoming events, seasonal menus, or special offers.
**Website, reservations softwear ( Res Diary & Opentable ) Management & Packages**
Maintain and update venue websites, ensuring content is current, accurate, and commercially sharp. Collaborate with the reservations team to design and promote packages that convert — from hotel breaks to dining experiences and special occasion offerings.
**Event Coordination**
Support the development and promotion of events across the Group — from concept and menu design through to digital promotion, printed collateral, and on-the-night execution. Previous experience with event marketing or production is a strong advantage.
**Bridie's Shop — Buying & Trend Spotting**
Take an active role in purchasing for Bridie's, with a particular focus on identifying emerging trends in coffee, pastry, and cocktail culture. You'll have a commercial eye and a genuine curiosity for what's new and what's next.
**Graphic Design & Print**
Design menus, posters, signage, and other printed and digital collateral to a consistently high standard. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design tools is essential.

This is primarily a Monday–Friday, 9–5 role based on-site in Kilkenny City. Some out-of-hours content capture (evenings or weekends) will be required from time to time, particularly around events — this will be managed reasonably and in advance.

## Why Join Us
This is a rare opportunity to own a marketing function within a genuinely iconic Irish hospitality group — one with real heritage, a loyal customer base, and serious ambition for what comes next. You'll have creative freedom, variety, and the backing of a team that cares deeply about quality.
